Protection Status

Blacka Blogger has developed an affection for this tiny whitebeam tree on Blacka Hill. There must be hope that one day it will attain maturity. It was sadly mauled by SWT's dreadful cattle last year but has spiritedly survived to face another spring.

The coming bovine invasion will certainly cause distress but let's hope that the whitebeam at least is left alone. In line with the fashionable trend to attach conservation acronyms to species and places I have decided to award this tree B.B.P.S. (Blacka Blogger Protection Status)
